When was our chapter formed?
The first group of alumnae to gather to form an alumnae chapter in our area met in April 2005. The Cape Fear chapter received its charter in April 2006.
When are your events?
Our events are held on different dates and at different times. This helps us to appeal to a wider variety of sisters. It also let's us plan a variety of events. Please check the Event's page for our upcoming schedule.
What if I have a friend or family member who is interested in becoming an Alpha Phi?
Bring her to our next event! We welcome interested friends and family and do perform alumnae initiations if they are interested in joining our chapter as an alumnae initiate.
Are the yearly membership dues the same as Alpha Phi international dues?
No. Our chapter has yearly dues, and Alpha Phi international dues are separate. For more information about paying dues please click the Dues page.
Do you help out the community?
Yes, our chapter has participated in Heart Health Day activities with the after school program at the Cape Fear YWCA in the past. We are currently seeking further opportunities for community involvement.
What if I am interested in becoming an officer or voluntering my time or services?
We always welcome any of you who are eager to help in any way-large or small. If you are interested in an joining a committee or being elected to the executive board, please contact Michele Scercy.
